100 Days of Marvel: Road to Infinity War - Day 32: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Season 2, Episodes 20-22)
The end of Agents season 2 was a fitting end to a great season. It ties up most of the threads presented, but also leaves some ropes for season 3 to climb.
But y'all know the drill. Friday night, short post...
I was happy to see Skye get a chance to do some hacking again. It feels like it has been awhile, and it was good that the show didn't forget Skye's other talents. Her hacking needs to stay relevant, though she is becoming omega level with her powers. Personality? I'm still heavy meh-tal on this.
I don't like how Raina is killed. Too quick. Not enough energy in the scene. She should have saw it coming, but I guess she did and she let herself die so that she could reveal Skye's mother as trash. I had a feeling.
Cal turned out to be stand up afterall. I liked the ending that he got. In fact, I liked a lot of characters final moments this season ( we won't touch Simmons, but fuuuuuusge). Coulson lost a hand, which was annoying at first because I thought he would turn inhuman. How cool would that have been, of he shed the ash and bad powers, but didn't know what they were.
Bobbi lives, I like that. She was dope for taking that bullet for her X. Also, what a stupid trap. I thought it was a bomb to kill them both. What agent opens the door and stands just in the door way? Naw, it's kick open, wait, rush in, check corners. I'm not an agent or cop or fbi, but that's film 101.
FitzSimmons cannon? I feel it coming. ... I wrote that before I see Simmons pulled into the... dark matter. The MOST sad ending. I hope she is okay.
